This one is not a normal blog post. This is a true, personal testimony! Enjoy!
So last week, I was sitting in the driveway in my car with my kids, waiting for the bus. Right after we were done praying, right before our eyes, my windshield cracked!
As I watched the crack run across the bottom of my windshield, God showed me who I am now as opposed to who I once was! Had this happend before I started nurturing my relationship with him, I would have FREAKED OUT! I would have cried, hollered, panicked, and worried! But no, not this time!
“No matter what cracks the enemy may place in the windshield of our lives, as long as we keep our eyes on Jesus, our vision will always be clear!.” - Ashley
I immediately, without thinking, about it, thanked God! (I was already praising and worshiping him all morning) I then started rebuking the devil out loud, and telling him to get out of my face! Get away from me and my family and my home, he is not welcomed here! He will NOT ruin my 24th day of prayer and fasting!
I have felt the Spirit moving all morning. So we were sitting there ( I was not upset) I was talking to the kids while trying to send a text, then, out of nowhere, I dropped my phone in the middle of the text and started "heavy crying." But it was not a sad cry, it was a praise cry!
I heard God in my spirit say "I allowed him to make that crack but I told him exactly where to place it, Nowhere that will block your view or prevent you from seeing clearly." And when I heard that, I cried out! I could feel his embrace. He was reminding me that no matter what cracks the enemy may place in the windshield of our lives, as long as we keep our eyes on him, our vision will always be clear! Hallelujah!
As with me, I pray that this testimony serves as a reminder for someone that He is ALWAYS with you! He is always there intervening and interceding, even hen we do not know it! And as always, he is there to embrace us and comfort us, as a parent would their child during trials and tribulations!
Prayers for a blessed and productive week my beautiful family!
