Oftentimes in life, we get so exhausted, and tired of fighting. If only we would remember the fight is not ours.
This is to that woman who was sexually assaulted and just can't stand herself right now. The woman who shows up for her ultrasound appointment to find out the gender, to see that she's had a miscarriage. The one who just got that eviction notice, or that service disconnection notice in the mail. The woman who is already worrying, because she doesn't know how she will buy school clothes for her children in a few months. To that woman who was just given the worst diagnosis of her life.
To the child without a father. To the one who prays that her father would just leave for unspoken reasons.
To the person that is locked up with a life sentence. To the one who is locked up spiritually due to strongholds that have consumed them, and they're just tired of fighting so it's easier to just let them have their way:
I'm here to tell you my friend, you are exhausted and feel that you can't win, because this ISN'T YOUR FIGHT!
1. 1 Chronicles 5:22 NIV says: "And many others fell slain, because the battle was God's. And they occupied the land until exile."
The armies of Reuben, Gad, & Manasseh were victorious because they trusted in God. They prayed for his direction.
2. 1 Samuel 17:47 NIV it says "All those gathered here will know that it is not by sword or spear that The Lord saves. For the battle is the Lord's and he will give all of you into our hands."
It was not David's effectiveness or accuracy with the sling shot that defeated Goliath, but his courage, and faith in God. To fight our battles, we need to be fearless like David. He was so confident, because of his trust in God!
3. Psalms 20:7 NIV says: "Some trust in chariots and horses, but we trust in the name of The Lord our God."
David knew the strength of his nation was not built on weaponry. It was, however, built on worship, not firepower, but God's Power. When facing the Goliath in your life, rest assured of God's protection.
4. Psalms 121 NIV says: "I lift up my eyes to the hills-- where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth."
The same God that created the hills, and created both heaven and Earth, also watches over us! Glory! We are safe! As his eternal children, we will never outgrow the need for his guidance and his protection over our lives.

When facing difficult situations, like The armies of Reuben, Gad, & Manasseh, seek God's purpose. Ask for his guidance and strength. And like David, trust in the Lord. Have that fearless faith. Take a moment to recall how God has helped you in the past. "Take heart, because I have overcome the world," says the Lord. The same Lord who gives you strength! How awesome!
Use the situations and circumstances of your testimony to carry you through this season. Just like the weather, seasons change. The storm passes, the rain stops, the sun comes out and the abundant rain reaps an overflow of crops! Hold on my friend.
THE NEXT SEASON, IS YOUR SEASON. ♥️
