Cutting Dead Ends: More Than Just Hair!

Updated: Jan 9, 2020

We have all heard if we want healthy, luxurious, strong LOCKS, to keep our dead ends trimmed, But what about our LIFE?

What happens to our hair when we trim our dead ends? As weight is lifted, it becomes replenished, regaining healthiness and strength, and re-stimulating growth!

When split and broken ends aren't addressed properly, it can cause extensive damage. Ruining the existing hair as well as stunting the growth of hair to come. The same is true for our relationships.

“God is taking you places that not everyone is called to go!”

1 John 2:19 says " They went out from us, but they did not really belong to us. For if they had belonged to us, they would have remained with us; but their going showed that none of them belonged to us. " NIV

let It Go!

Know when people's season in your life is over. Stop trying to save and revive what is not in God's will for you! God is taking you places that not everyone is called to go! It's painful sometimes, especially when it's someone you may have years of history with, but like your hair, if you're going to grow, you have to cut off the dead ends! All the weight you are carrying is weighing you down, stunting your growth! It is often recommended that you trim your hair every 3-4 months or 12-16 weeks to keep hair healthy and strong. Try making an effort to routinely trim the damage off of your life!

So get rid of those dead ends! Reclaim and replenish the healthy and growing life that God has for you!
